Heinz History Center

With your library card, you can get FREE ADMISSION for up to four people to the Heinz History Center!

The Heinz History Center is one of Pittsburgh's oldest cultural organizations. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the museum contains six floors of long-term and changing exhibits with hands-on activities, as well as a multitude of events and programs.

In addition to the Heinz History Center, your ticket also provides access to Fort Pitt Museum and Meadowcroft!
 

 

Fort Pitt Museum

With your library card, you can get FREE ADMISSION for up to four people to the Fort Pitt Museum!

The Fort Pitt Museum tells the story of Western Pennsylvania's vital role during the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. Through interactive exhibits, life-like historical figures and artifacts, visitors can discover the important role that our region played in shaping the country and about daily life of 18th century residents.

In addition to the Fort Pitt Museum, your ticket also provides access to Heinz History Center and Meadowcroft! When requesting your pass to this museum, ask for the Heinz History Center Experience Kit.

Meadowcroft Village

With your library card, you can get FREE ADMISSION for up to four people to Meadowcroft Rockshelter & Historic Village!

At this National Historic Landmark, visitors can investigate archeology from 19,000 years ago; travel 400 years into the past to explore a re-created 16th century Indian village; explore an 18th century frontier trading post; and visit a 19th century rural village while learning from re-enactors dressed in period costumes and from living history demonstrations.

In addition to Meadowcroft Rockshelter & Historic Village, your ticket also provides access to Heinz History Center and Fort Pitt Museum! When requesting, ask for the Heinz History Center Experience Kit.
 

The Bradford House & Whiskey Rebellion Education Center

An affiliate of the Heinz History Center, The David Bradford House enables visitors to witness and experience the architecture, events and atmosphere of Western Pennsylvania during the 18th century.

 

Fort Ligonier

Fort Ligonier is an important part of the history of our country and our area. It had a key role in the French and Indian War, a prelude to the war fought by England and France for control of the North American continent. Fort Ligonier is connected to the history of Pittsburgh.


Historic Fort Steuben

Historic Fort Steuben's many exhibits, tours and events tell the story of the Ohio Valley during the 18th century and help to keep history alive today!
