Now that Allegheny County has moved into the green phase, the Library will be
open to the public for limited hours beginning on Monday, June 15th..
Hours of operation will be
Monday - Thursday from 10AM - 6PM
Friday & Saturday from 10AM - 2PM.
Masks are required to enter the Municipal Building and while in the Library. Children under the age of 2 and those with a valid medical condition are exempt. High touch areas such as counters and tabletops are disinfected daily. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the Library for you to use.
Public computers, which have been socially distanced, will be available for use but are limited to one hour per day to accommodate as many people as possible. Toys and games have been removed from the Family Place area and furniture has been reconfigured to maintain social distancing practices. Study rooms are limited to two people.
As we are under a limited capacity order, we are asking all patrons who visit to conduct their transactions and not linger in the Library so that we may accommodate as many people as possible during our operating hours.
You may return library materials in the outside book drops at any time. All returned materials are quarantined for at least 72 hours before being checked in. You will still notice them on your account during the quarantine phase. No fines will be charged during that time.
We will still be offering curbside pickup for those who are not comfortable coming in to the Library. You can call the Library and request items that are located in our collection only. We cannot request and receive items from other Libraries in Allegheny County at this time.
You can use this
form to request items for curbside pickup. Items MUST be located in the
Bethel Park Public Library. Items form other Libraries cannot be requested at
this time. Please limit your requests to a maximum of five (5) itmes.

Bethel Park Public Library is one of a small number of the 70+ library outlets in Allegheny County that is opening to the public at this time. Please understand that all the services to which you have become accustomed may not yet be available. All classes and clubs are on pause for the summer and will not be meeting at the Library. We ask for your patience and support of new rules and regulations that we must follow as we work to provide to you the best library services we can during this time.
